Pioneer have over the past few years been developing their KUVO technology, which is essentially a box that sits alongside a conventional CDJ and reports back what tracks are being played in the club, in real-time. This data can then be used by Performing Rights Societies worldwide to help filter royalties back to artists and songwriters.
