Sónar has unveiled the opening lineup for its 2026 edition, with the Barcelona festival set to return June 18-20. In a significant format change, the entire event will take place at the Sónar By Night venue at Fira Barcelona, featuring continuous music programming from afternoon until early morning across all three days. The annual Sónar +D talks program will relocate to a yet-to-be-announced city center venue.
The first wave of artists features an eclectic mix including R&B vocalist Kelis, UK house producer Joy Orbison, grime artist Skepta, techno DJ Charlotte de Witte, jungle breakout Nia Archives, and drum and bass talent Sammy Virji. The lineup also includes experimental ambient duo Julianna Barwick and Mary Lattimore, German electronic act Boys Noize, industrial pioneers Cabaret Voltaire, DJ Gigola, and techno powerhouse Amelie Lens.
Additional acts include AURA, Clementime, DJ Gigola, ISA, Colleen Cosmo Murphy presenting Cosmodelica, Danielle b2b Ryan Elliott, Funk Tribu, Ged Janson b2b Marcel Dettmann, KETTAMA, DJ MAGA, MK b2b TSHA, Modeselektor, Ogazón, RONI, and MadeWho.
This marks Sónar’s first edition since October’s departure of its three founding members, who stepped down after more than three decades. The festival is now led by François Jozic, founder of the international Brunch Electronik party and festival series.
