Several UK festivals have joined a new gender-equality initiative by the PRS Foundation, Keychange is a pledge to have at least a 50/50 balance between male and female artists on line ups by 2022.
The festivals range from classical, jazz and rock, with very few being dance music based. CEO of PRS Foundation Vanessa Reed said “We support diverse talent across every programme we run at PRS Foundation”.
