Known for instruments like the MiniBrute and their softsynth replicas of Moog and Roland classics, Arturia have announced a brand new analog drum machine that will retail for $349, the DrumBrute Impact. It will replace the existing $499 DrumBrute with a smaller footprint and a lower price point.
The DrumBrute Impact includes a 64-step sequencer for it’s 10 sounds, a kick, snares, toms, a cymbal, cowbell and closed and open hats. It also offers a ‘color layer’ which allows you to add effects to each individual sound.
On the ports end of things it features four audio outputs for recording or thru-in on another effect unit. It’s also MIDI and USB compatible and has an option for output distortion for anyone looking to add a little dirt to their drums.
The DrumBrute Impact is available now via Arturia.com, you can also watch a promo video below.
