Behringer founder Uli Behringer has taken to the Gearslutz forum to ask the opinions of people regarding the company developing Eurorack modules that would retail within a price point of $49-99.
Asking what kind of modules people do or do not want, as well as pitching the idea of designers and developers within the community submitting their designs or prototypes to him, which if possessed potential could be manufactured by Behringer in exchange for a revenue share.
Uli said: “The goal would be to build a wide range of modules and – as usual – at very affordable prices (target prices US$ 49-99) which would allow us to open this market and get as many people as possible into synths and making music.”
