Two of Britains most seminal producers, Kode9 and Burial have been working together for a long time. With the former owning UK bass label Hyperdub, where Burial has put out almost all of his original music, including the iconic 2007 album Untrue.
Now the two friends will come together once more, and for the first time since 2010 when they recorded a b2b mix for Mary Anne Hobbs last ever show for BBC Radio 1.
They will curate a mix for FABRICLIVE, a series which has seen previous album curation from top shelf selectors like Skream, Groove Armada, Boys Noize, Four Tet, Goldie, A-Track, Diplo, Noisia and more and with it being the 100th editon in the series, fabric have also confirmed that the series will change to a new format following it’s release, though what changes will be made exactly they haven’t yet said.
While no tracklist for FABRICLIVE100 has been released yet, it will contain 37 tracks in total, and come via CD, digital and on 12″, the release date is September 28th 2018.
