Kaz James will make an appearance with Yousef’s Circus Recordings’ label this month, an imprint which has previously seen music from names like Hot Since 82, Paul Woolford, Cristoph and CamelPhat.
The venture will find the Australian DJ and producer release his ‘Life In Purple’ original, alongside two remixes, one each from British producers Ben Pearce of ‘What I Might Do’ fame and emerging house talent Ki Creighton.
So far streams are only available for the original, which offers a romantically tinged flow of melodies, radiating bass grooves and polished drums. You can stream the track below.
James said “I’ve been testing it all summer and just love the key change. It really impacts the dancefloor. People don’t expect it when it drops. There’s a killer Ben Pearce remix as well for those deeper moments, I hope everyone likes it.”
Kaz James – Life In Purple EP drops November 23rd on Circus Recordings.
