Moog have reissued a super limited run of their IIIP modular synth, the three sectioned modular units are identical replicates of the original 1960s model.
Limited to just 25 units, the synthesizer features 10 901-series oscillators and 36 modules, including delays, reverbs, mixers and filters. Priced at $35,000, this is definitely one for the dedicated synth geek with some spare change.
Moog said the reissue “exhibits the tuning instability and interference susceptibility inherent in the design” just as with the original.
