London will get a brand new club space next summer from the same team behind existing venue Printworks, which will hold several thousand people for a number of different events.
With construction scheduled to begin this December, new venue ‘Magazine’ will hopefully open during summer 2019 in the heart of Greenwich Peninsula in South London.
Venue Labs, the team involved in the development of Printworks will partner with Knight Dragon, a property and investment company in London to work on the project. It will be designed by Architecture studio Nissen Richards, the studio which worked on the V&A Lecture Theatre and the Seoul Opera House.
At 5,400 square metres, Magazine plans to host conferences, music events, exhibitions and award ceremonies. An outdoor space will also open beside the club which will be capable of holding 7,000 people, combining the two will allow for a massive 10,000 capacity.
