The city of Manchester is getting a brand new event space later this month, complete with a music spot, a bar and a restaurant that’s spread across four floors.
Based in a former auctioneers and printers press building, ‘Yes’ will bring a basement club space and a rooftop terrace, with a bar and the rooftop open for free public access, while the basement will be reserved for ticketed occasions.
Opening on September 21st, Yes will throw a three day party that brings a ton of DJs and live acts to the venue, including DJ Seinfeld, Star Slinger, Let’s Eat Grandma and Dutch Uncles.
UK music legend Gilles Peterson and Octavian are also among the first events at Yes. Co-founder Jon Wickstead said “We’re proud to be able to contribute to the city’s independent scene which is why we’ll continue promoting events in its other amazing venues and we hope YES will allow our collective experience to help others do amazing things as well.”
