Warp Records artist Nightmares On Wax recently teamed up with British non-profit Last Night A DJ Saved My Life to achieve the highest DJ set ever, and no, not that kind of high!
The ‘Ain’t No Mountain High Enough’ campaign saw George Evelyn and sixteen other climbers tackle an 18,865 foot ascent to Mount Kilimanjaro’s Crater Camp on September 1st, the International Day of Peace.
Fundraising efforts for the campaign have so far raised over £62,000, with the option to donate still available.
The money raised will go towards the Feathers Tale Children’s Village to build a specialist accommodation facility for at least 25 special needs children and their single mothers.
If you would like to donate to the campaign, you can do so here. You can also check out a clip of the DJ set below.
