The topic of virtual reality is an ever growing and constantly expanding world of innovation and awe, being used in aerospace, medical and gaming industries to further the capabilities and fun of our day-to-day lives.
Now a brand new app – Reality Decks – will let you DJ in a completely digital realm. The software uses gyroscopic technology and Oculus Rift to allow users the experience of playing records, using turntables and a DJ mixer and even scratch virtual vinyl.
Complete with 10 tracks and 25 audio loops to play with, this is a promising sign for how VR tech could be applied to DJing in the future. The app is available today from the Oculus store, check out the promo video below.
