Ben Böhmer has spent the past few years mastering his craft, and has become a mainstay amongst European deep and progressive house in the process. Having released music on labels such as This Never Happened, Future Classic, and Cercle Records, the Berlin-based producer now returns to Anjunadeep for the release of his second career long player, “Begin Again”. The label holds dominance in its genre, with their schedule having seen outings from Luttrell, DJ Koze, Yotto, Eli & Fur, Alan
Fitzpatrick, and CamelPhat in 2021 alone. Böhmer’s new album sticks to the standard Anjuna format of vocal drenched, heavily-melodic club music that works just as well on your £30 earbuds as it does on a £25,000 professional grade sound system. The combination of harmonising vocals, warming bass textures and smoothly filtered synth work creates an emotive soundscape that pulls you deeper and deeper as the tracklist progresses. Credited features include work from Gordi, lau.ra, PBSR, and JONAH, the latter of which also appeared on Ben’s debut album “Breathing”.
