Turbo Recordings boss Tiga and Warp Records alumni Hudson Mohawake join forces once again, this time for an impressive 16-track long player titled ‘L’Ecstasy’. The record brings much of what you might expect from the pair in robust, weighty club music, with house, dance, and acid making up the majority of the extensive tracklist. Feature wise it only includes three credited collaborations, with Channel Tres, Jesse Boykins III, and Elisabeth Troy all jumping on tracks. Recorded between
2019 and 2023 in Los Angeles, the project includes tracks like ‘Ascending In The Clouds’ and ‘Velvet Sky of Dreams’, both of which have been getting a hugely positive reaction across streaming platforms and social media. As with everything Tiga and Hudson release, the production quality is second to none, and delivers a lovely balance of dense low end rumbles and sharp, metallic transients.
Where to start:
Ascending Into The Clouds: Big drums, big bass, and big vocals
Silence Of Love: Acid basslines and huge metallic synth stabs
Feel The Rush: Filtered melodies and a top line fro Channel Tres
