Steve Angello, Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell are all talented artists in their own respective solo careers, but it has been together as Swedish House Mafia that the trio have really shown the potential of house music in a commercial market. Tracks like Don’t You Worry Child have attracted over 500 million views on YouTube alone.
Following their recent reunion at the 2018 Ultra Music Festival which broke the groups five year silence, the rumour mill has been going at full power, with tours, albums, headline festival shows and more all being talked about.
Now in an interview with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf, Steve Angello has confirmed that Swedish House Mafia will play at Tomorrowland 2019 in Belgium “by any means necessary”.
This backs up talk of a 2019 tour from the group, and whether they’re bored, in need of cash or just miss hanging out with each other all the time, we hope to hear some new SHM tunes very soon.
