To the delight of anxious clubbers across the world, the Miami edition of Ultra Music Festival has finally found a home for its 22nd year, taking place Friday 29th March through Sunday 31st March.
The flagship stage of the UMF line up will move about 6 miles by car from its old home of Bayfront Park to the new location of the Virginia Key island in Florida.
Last week the City Of Miami approved Ultra’s contract with the location and while the commission have spoken out against the loud sound-systems and drug or alcohol related incidents during UMF, it seems everything is a go for 2019.
Ultra’s Marketing and New Media director Albert Berdallans said “I know a lot of you got used to Bayfront but the truth is that park was holding us back for years. now we can do some incredible things we never could.”
They have also released a rather classy, cinematic video showcasing the history of Ultra Miami, calling the change of location a ‘New Chapter’, watch it below.
