French techno-electro star Gesaffelstein, known for his unique and in your face production style which has found him produce records for Kanye West and have his music featured on the best selling video game of all time, GTA:V, has signed to Columbia Records, a label under Sony Music Entertainment, following a number of billboards baring his name appeared in Paris, Los Angeles and New York City.
On October 31st, his Facebook page also changed to the same glowing gold text visual, which combined with the billboard threw the internet’s rumour mill on its head. Now the news that he has signed to Columbia all but confirms that new music is on the horizon.
Apart from a number of collaborations with various songwriters, including The Weeknd, Gesaffelstein hasn’t released any original music since 2015, and his debut album came in 2013, so maybe the Columbia hook up will bred a follow up long player?
