Canadian artist Deadmau5 is no doubt a pioneer of live performance and live remixing, he was one of the original ‘Ableton DJs’ and has contributed to the softwares development in the past.
Recent years have seen the Mau5trap boss take the combination of audio and visual arts to the next level, alongside guys such as Eric Prydz and Richie Hawtin. The ‘cube’ is known as Deadmau5′ most impressive live show, featuring spinning panels and 3D graphics. Though the set up is notoriously expensive to travel with and can bring extreme delays if brought on tour.
This week will see the reveal of ‘the other cube’ a setup Deadmau5 says is “64% more club ready”. He is set to perform February 15th and 16th at Colorado club Belly Up with ATTLAS and Rinzen on support.
