Disclosure break silence with 'Ultimatium'

English brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence aka. Disclosure took the world by storm in 2012 and beyond with their refreshing style of dance music and collaborations with some top vocalists, including Sam Smith, Jessie Ware, Lorde, Gregory Porter and The Weeknd.

Since then the pair have released two studio albums and been nominated for a Grammy, though since their 2016 release titled Moog For Love they have taken a hiatus from the spotlight. Last week they broke their silence with a new track that features vocals from Malian talent Fatoumata Diawara.

“Sorry it’s been a while this time… We have been missing you all immensely, so we wanted to share something we’ve been working on with you now the sun is shining, the trees are green and some dance floors need filling!”

“A few months ago we stumbled across an amazing female vocalist named Fatoumata Diawara. While digging through her discography we discovered this beautiful sample and started experimenting with it. The result is our new song, ‘Ultimatum’.”

Ultimatum brings Disclosure’s usual synth-driven electronic-pop hybrid with caressing percussion rhythms, arousing synth bass and addictive drum work. It also follows the pair confirming that they’re currently working on their third album that’s expected to come sometime in 2019.
