Five Tracks: The Deepshakerz

Italian music duo The Deepshakerz have been on great form as producers so far in 2024, releasing their music on house-focused imprints such as Kittball, Safe Music, and Fool’s Paradise.

Their recent appearance on Adesso Music seen the pair collaborate with their fellow Italian FEZ, for a new single release titled ‘Deep Ocean’.

They share some of their current favourites for our latest edition of Five Tracks – where they shine a light on music from Archie Hamilton, Super Flu, Goon Gum, and others.

Super Flu & Ivan Masa – It’s a House Day
Label: Didschn

“This track is ideal to kickstart getting serious on the dancefloor. When we first heard it, the combination of percussion and its insistent melody caught our attention instantly. It’s a track that feels recognisable and new all in one, it’s a go to for us at any gig we play.”

Archie Hamilton – Don’t Need You
Label: MicroHertz

“We have been big fans of Archie for a while now – he is the man. This track is the essence of electronic music, groovy rhythms with a driving tech vibe. Every beat invites you to surrender to the euphoric flow, let the good vibes carry you.”

Cosmo’s Midnight – Telephone
Label: Nite High

“This is one of those tracks that makes you immediately want to get on the dance floor. It’s got a classic disco funk sound – strings, guitar, super reverberated voices, and hypnotic acid basslines. The blend of disco and acid is perfect on this record.”

Anyma & Cassian – Save Me (Goom Gum & Stylo Remix)
Label: Afterlife

“When we first heard this we fell in love with its vibe. It’s not so much a specific aspect for us, more the track as a whole. The vocals are so dreamy and ride perfectly over the deep, melodic track. An amazing moment when taking people on a music journey.”

YOURS – Our Love
Label: Defected

“Oh this one is a perfect nu-disco masterpiece. A song that feels like it’s been discovered in an unopened vault from the ’80s. The vocal refrain is particularly special on this one – it feels like it’s moving in your brain like a Ferrari on a circuit.”

The Deepshakerz & FEZ – Deep Ocean is out now on Adesso Music.
