Anja Schneider’s recently launched Sous Music imprint has seen an excellent reception, since dropping a full length album for the labels inaugural release, with remix work also coming from names like Butch, Billy Turner and Argy.
Now, the first producer to release an original track on the label besides the Berlin based boss is Italian native Francesca Lombardo, with her two track Spondylus which includes an original mix alongside a remix from Schneider.
The Echoe & Echolette label founder brings a melodic techno tune with smooth synth work and smart arrangements, while the remix is a more driven, danceable affair with rhythmic chords and heavier kick drums.
Lombardo and Schneider are also long time friends, with the label stating “On the occasion the pair have played back to back, it’s flowed with unspoken harmony. Firm friends for many years, her addition to the Sous family felt right.”
Francesca Lombardo’s Spondylus EP will arrive August 31st on Sous Music.
