This week, Inflyte will be taking part in Output, the Belfast music industry conference, on Thursday 24 September at The MAC and Oh Yeah Music Centre. As a Belfast company, we’re proud to be part of an event that brings the industry together in our city. We’ll be hosting a panel called Inflyte Presents: How Electronic Music Breaks in 2026: From Demo to Dancefloor, part of the day’s 12:40 sessions.
The way electronic music is signed, distributed, promoted and discovered is changing quickly. The panel brings together people working at different points in that journey to look at what a release’s path to an audience actually looks like now. It will also cover how technology, data and shifting DJ behaviour are reshaping that path, and where things may be heading.
Our founder and CEO, Paul Hamill, will moderate, and the speakers are:
- Helen Sartory, recently promoted to President & COO, Beatport
- Dominic Kerley, VP, LabelWorx
- Luke McFarlane, Head of Music, Material Music
Between them, the panel covers the platform where DJs find and buy music, the distribution and label services side, the artist and label development side, and the promotion side that Inflyte works in every day. We’re looking forward to comparing notes on what works, what has stopped working, and what artists and labels should be paying attention to next.
Output is a one-day conference for the music industry in Northern Ireland and beyond, with sessions on everything from producer deals and sync to touring, radio and label building.
