Jemma Bolt has spent over a decade behind the decks, building a reputation that stretches from Newport to NYC. She’s played some of the world’s most iconic clubs, including Hï Ibiza and Fabric, and taken to major festival stages at Glastonbury, Creamfields, and Isle of Wight. But alongside her own DJ career, Bolt is also the co-founder of Discoliscious, the LGBTQ+ collective and club brand she’s steered from a side project into one of the standout residencies at UNVRS. We caught up with her to talk about where it all started.
Discoliscious, as she describes it, is a collective of DJs mainly embedded in the LGBTQ+ scene, “girls and the gays basically”, throwing parties, events, and festivals. But the brand didn’t start out with any grand plan behind it.
“It all started off as a bit of a joke, if I’m really honest,” she told us. “I wanted to get into DJing, I just thought, do you know what, if you build a brand then it gives you a little bit more kudos. I didn’t really think it was gonna build the momentum it did, in all honesty, but here we are.”
That momentum has carried Discoliscious into 2026 with a headline residency at UNVRS, taking over the bunker every Friday night as part of David Guetta’s Galactic Circus. Exciting times for the project!
“We’re back with our residency at UNVRS in the bunker, and that will be on Friday nights for David Guetta’s Galactic Circus,” she explained. “So we do a Discoliscious bunker takeover, we’ll have all of our DJs there on rotation with some very special surprise guests. Most of them are going to be unannounced, they’re just going to appear, but there’s some very, very big names.”
Beyond Discoliscious, Jemma Bolt has been building her own name in the studio too, collaborating with the likes of Jordan Peak, LoopDeeLoop, Electric Emma, and K-Klass, a sign of her growing move into production alongside her DJing.
