Since finding success amongst the YouTube community at the beginning of the 2010’s, British liquid and bass producer Rameses B has developed into a fully established artist who has seen tens of millions of plays on his music across YouTube and Spotify. He has released a number of exciting singles on massive labels like Liquicity and Monstercat, though it’s his run of self-released studio albums that we have found to be most impressive. The Leeds-native welcomed another addition to
the independent-side of his music catalogue last week, as he released his brand new ‘Night Owl’ LP. The album, which boasts a dozen inclusions in total, ventures through the usual Rameses B soundscape of deep, visceral, and heart-warming aural textures. Including D&B, liquid, future garage, and dubstep sounds, the project leans heavily on rich piano tones, smoothly filtered basslines, airy synth pads, and crisp percussive hits that together build a highly energetic yet equally emotional experience. It’s perfect for almost any environment, whether you want something to soundtrack your next study session, a backing track for the gym, or just some general listening, there’s plenty here to sink your teeth into.
