Soma Skool break 9 year hiatus for day of courses and industry panels

Scottish techno institution Soma Records have been a pillar of the UK’s dance scene for many years. The label has put out music from Daft Punk, Harvey McKay, Mark Reeve and founders Slam among others.

Alongside the label is the education focused brand Soma Skool, now making a return after a 9-year break. The team will take over Glasgow’s SWG3 Warehouse for a free entry event that will include ‘free goodie bags, internships, career advice, DJ courses, Ableton courses and industry panels’.

Fans and artists will have the opportunity to engage with Slam, Regis, Surgeon, I Hate Models, Solid Blake, Auntie Flo, Jonnie Wilkes, Happy Meals and Stephanie Sykes. Features from Mixmag, Ableton and Be-At.tv will also be present.
