Amsterdam Dance Event confirms first round of artists

Amsterdam Dance Event has become the biggest gathering of dance music professionals not just in The Netherlands or even Europe, but in the world. With 2018’s schedule anticipated to attract over 400,000 visitors, it’s going to be the biggest yet.

Running October 17th to October 21st, ADE 2018 will no doubt be jam packed with a massive number of talks, panels, DJ sets, live performances, production masterclasses, networking events and parties. For the five days in October a small section of Amsterdam will transform into a buzzing hub of groove driven energy.

Now a little over four months away, the ADE team have confirmed the first wave of artists set to take part in the many areas on offer. Including Ben Klock, Dave Clarke, Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones, Joseph Capriati, Nina Kraviz, Bonobo, Derrick May and Bicep.

ADE Director Richard Zijlma said: “We’re almost at the point of reaching the magical 400,000 visitors mark, and we still see lots of opportunities to grow. ADE aims to be a world stage for musical talent and the music industry. With visitors from more than 100 countries now you can confidently claim that Amsterdam is truly the beating heart of the worldwide music industry during ADE, while being at the same time a breading ground for cultural and technological innovation for five days and nights.”
