An Amsterdam prison is being converted into a nightclub during ADE

Former Amsterdam prison The Bijlmerbajes is set to be transformed into a huge techno club during this years Amsterdam Dance Event, which takes place in October.

Hosted by Dutch promoters Audio Obscura, the project will see the space converted for three nights of parties, running from Thursday 18th to Saturday 20th October.

Opening things on the Thursday will be Carista, before she hands things over to American artists in Chicago’s Honey Dijon and Detroit selector Seth Troxler.

The Friday hosts Speedy J, Berlin native Rødhad, Jon Hester and Clouds, before finally on the Saturday we see Nina Kraviz curate the sound with her ‘presents трип’ party.

All three nights will run to 6AM, with tickets starting at €34.50 each. They go on sale tomorrow at midday, find more information on the Audio Obscura Facebook page.
