Five Tracks: TERR

Born in Brazil, now based in Barcelona, Daniela Caldellas is quickly finding her place within the European electronic music scene. With releases on Correspondant and Permanent Vacation, as well as heading up her own Clash Lion label alongside Daniel Watts and Shall Ocin.

We had the Brazilian talent stop by to give five of her current sonic essentials, including tunes from the seminal Underground Resistance, her label partner Shall Ocin, the swiftly emerging Curses, her fellow Barca based Maceo Plex and more.

Underground Resistance – Jupiter Jazz

I love Underground resistance. When I first heard this fusion of jazz, techno, house and acid on Jupiter Jazz, it blew my mind! I’ve been playing it recently on my sets again.

Fiberroot – Roccodrillo (Shall Ocin Remix)

I totally love this track! Every DJ that plays this style should try this track and see what happens on the dancefloor. It is a techno masterpiece, simple as that!

Der Dritte Raum – Hale Bopp (Maceo Plex Remix)

A fresh rework of an ageless classic. The original was a true masterpiece, those beautiful arpeggios and the futuristic and introspective atmosphere.

Curses ft. Perel  – Gold & Silber

I love his postpunk, dark yet danceable style. This track has the vocals of Perel, taking the magic a bit further.

Space – Magic Fly

The future of the past was very interesting. All those people making the transition from disco to the 80s, adding a lot of electronic music to dancing pop. One of my biggest influences.

TERR’s first EP on her own label Clash Lion came out on the 5th October, with a killer remix pack from Curses, Cardopusher and Daniel Watts, check it on Beatport.
