London based producer, DJ and label owner Ryan Aitchison has done a phenomenal job with his Mella Dee project, his rise through the ranks of British club music has saw him grace labels such as Dusky’s 17 Steps and top UK house imprint Defected.
His next outing will come in just a few weeks, and on his very own label, Warehouse Music. His ‘Exactly Mate’ EP delivers four ready-to-eat productions in Passing Me By, Club Vibe, Exactly Mate and Out Of Love.
It’s his first return to the label as Mella Dee since the 2017 stand out jam ‘Techno Disco Tool’, which topped BBC Radio 1’s dance music chart, was Nick Grimshaw’s Tune Of The Week and currently has 3.5 million plays over on Spotify.
The new EP offers a full spread of punchy drum knocks, smooth synth bass, flashy chords and plenty of party flavour throughout.
