Mike Simonetti is releasing collective works album

Raised in the New Jersey area of the United States, Mike Simonetti has been turning out records for decades. His work under a number of monikers including Italians Do It Better and Pale Blue has amassed him a niche but dedicated following. With the years of experience comes a back catalogue that most would envy, with a lot of the material yet to be heard.

The next project to come from Simonetti will drop under his own name, and on his own 2MR imprint, a label he runs with Adam Gerrard and Mike Sniper. The new ‘Solipsism’ LP will feature some of his favourite work from 2006 to 2013, with 10 tracks in total, two of which being 12″ bonus tracks.

Sonically the album offers a diverse palette of sound with nostalgia tingeing ‘late night drive’ aesthetics amongst a selection box of ambient natured synths, slowly bubbling electronica, dark and shadowed club rhythms and more.

The album will drop September 29th on 2MR, though you can stream ‘Illusions’ from the album below now.
