Iconic British selector Sasha and Swedish talent La Fleur have linked up in the studio for a brand new collaboration that will come on a two track EP via Sasha’s Last Night On Earth imprint.
‘Förbindelse’, or ‘Connection’ in Swedish, comes three years after La Fleur debuted on Last Night On Earth with her Orbit EP, and since then she has dropped tunes on labels like Knee Deep In Sound, Watergate and Truesoul.
Having been road tested by the two artists on stages such as Melt!, Bestival and Junction 2, the track is finally getting a release and will sit alongside La Fleur’s original ‘Rooned’.
La Fleur said “When I first approached Sasha to present some music for his label I couldn’t have dreamt he would suggest a collab together! It was a great honour to say yes to the challenge. It has taken some time and a lot of drafts going back and forth to end up with this track together.”
They also collaborated at Amsterdam Dance Event last week, where they hosted a feed for Native Instruments annual Traktor Cookery.
